Known as the "Land of the Rising Sun," Japan is an island nation composed of four main islands: Hokkaido, Honshū, Shikoku, and Kyūshū. Among the most populous countries in the world, beyond its vibrant capital, Tokyo, Japan offers numerous lesser-known yet enchantingly beautiful destinations. The predominantly mountainous archipelago is characterized by islands, often of volcanic origin, and a climate that varies depending on the latitude, from temperate to tropical. Known for its ancient culture and rich artistic heritage, Japan remains an inexhaustible source of beauty and enchantment.
